Thank you for your preliminary phone call about our landscaping and lawn services. We appreciate your interest in our company. Attached is a sheet covering the services we offer, a history of our company, and a price list. You’ll find that our prices are extremely competitive, and you can be assured that not only do we have fair pricing, but that you will receive the best service. VitaGreen has been voted best landscaping service by the Moses Lake Business Journal 6 years running.

Our suggestion for your association, given the size of your property, is to establish a weekly program of lawn and shrub/tree care. This would include mowing, fertilizing, pruning, and removal of yard waste. Keeping your landscaping healthy is our first priority, and will lessen the number of times we will need to spray for pests. We suggest at the very minimum a once yearly application of pesticide for your established trees for common pests like aphids, which can get severe in our area. In addition, your pines should be prepared to fend off attacks from Pine Beetle. Once the beetle attacks, there is little remedy but to cut down the infected trees. We have found that spraying once in the late spring and once in the late summer is the best preventive measure. We would further suggest a bi-weekly program of organic powdery-mildew spray during the months of August through September, when it is most severe in our area. This is a surprisingly effective and inexpensive spray, and will allow your residents to enjoy their gardens without fear of contamination from harsh chemicals.

New Lawns

New lawns from your choice of seed: Kentucky Bluegrass, Dwarf Fescue Mix (xeric), Zoysia, or Buffalo Grass. We are happy to help determine which lawn will be right for your situation (foot traffic, use, shade, soil type, water, etc…) Sod is available in Bluegrass and Fescue only.

Lawn Maintenance

Once your lawn is established, VitaGreen will mow, fertilize (organic or traditional methods), aerate, and dethatch your lawn for you to keep it healthy and green.

Sprinkler Systems

If you want to save money on water and have less yard maintenance, we suggest a sprinkler system. We have designed systems from between 4 and 20 stations, for yards as small as .05 acres to properties as large as 5 acres. We can zone your sprinkler system for varied flow based on purpose such as lawn versus vegetable garden. Whatever your watering needs, we can design and install a system that will work for you.

Yard Maintenance

Our most popular yard maintenance service is the Spring and Fall Cleanup. We come in twice a year, shape up the yard, and haul off all pruned vegetation, weeds, and yard waste. We also offer fertilizing and pruning of shrubs and trees.

Pest Control

In the last ten years, Fire Ants and Pine Beetles in our area have become debilitating. We suggest preventive measures if you own Pine trees, and aggressive control if you spot either of these pests in your landscaping. Our general pest spray service will control most other types of pests, including aphids, wasps, grubs and beetles.

Soil and Disease Analysis

We believe that your landscaping can only be as good as the soil it is grown in. We offer pH analysis, mineral analysis, and soil type analysis. This is especially helpful for those beginning to landscape their yard. We offer amendments to improve your soil. We also offer analysis of diseased trees, shrubs, and lawns, and provide proper treatment.
